There is a lot of activity and interest within the Exchange Network community (and its boarders) around geospatial data. In 2008, the Network Technology Group convened a Geospatial Task Force to develop needed demonstrations and documentation to support adoption of Geography Markup Language (GML) on the Exchange Network. The Geo Task Force has completed its core products and future discussions on linkages between the Exchange Network and Geo world are transitioning to an open community-of-interest (COI) forum. Meetings will be held quarterly and information on call dates, agendas, and logistics will be posted on this page.
The next call date is TBD. Check back here for details or contact Shawna McGarry (shawna.mcgarry@ross-assoc.com) if you are interested in participating and receiving email notices related to scheduled calls.
