The Oregon Natural Heritage Information Center (ORNHIC) is located in Portland, OR. It is part of the Institute of Natural Resources in the Oregon University System. ORNHIC tracks data on rare and endangered species throughout the state, acting as a data clearing house for agencies, the public, and private consultants. ORNHIC is also involved in vegetation mapping, vertebrate range modeling, wetland classification, and various other projects.

Through an EPA grant ORNHIC is working on joining the Exchange Network to add species and habitat information to data flows.
