February 2, 2010 The NTG and NPRG will be co-hosting an EN Open Call this Thursday, February 4th from 2-3:30 Eastern, focusing on the business value of reuse on the EN. You can join the call at https://www1.gotomeeting.com/join/444574793, you will be provided with a call in number after registration.
January 6, 2010 The Exchange Network Leadership Council (ENLC) seeks applicants for the position of Exchange Network Coordinator to assume the duties as the major point of coordination for the Exchange Network. A copy of the position description for the Coordinator is available on the home page of the ECOS website at http://www.ecos.org. Please submit cover letter and resume via email to lgarrigan@sso.org no later than January 29, 2010.
January 4, 2010 Registration is now open for the Exchange Network National Meeting, which will be held at the InterContinental Hotel in Chicago, IL from April 20-22, 2010. To register, go to http://www.exchangenetwork.net/2010Meeting/.
November 20. 2009 The Exchange Network is now on Facebook! Become a fan and network with other EN partners, hear about upcoming Open Calls and topics, and connect with governance members.
November 17, 2009 Thursday, December 10, 2009 from 2:00 - 3:30 PM EST. This call will feature Node 2.0 implementation experiences shared directly by states and tribes that have upgraded to Node 2.0 and OpenNode2 more specifically. For more information, see the Open Call page.
November 2, 2009 The EITLC has selected its top five environmental information issues of the year and is currently recruiting members of it's Priority Action Teams to address them. If you are interested in joining a PAT, please visit the EITLC Wiki Get Involved page.

October 28, 2009 The ENLC and NOB are holding their annual joint meeting today and tomorrow in Boston. The agenda includes governance work plans for 2010, finishing the National System Flows, National Electronic Reporting and Publishing, respectful use of data, and EN growth strategies. October 16, 2009 Two new governance members have joined the NPRG: Janice McLean (Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, Division of Water) and Jurgen Koch (Texas Commission On Environmental Quality)
October 15, 2009 OCTOBER 16th is the FINAL day of voting for the top environmental information and technology issues on the EITLC Wiki.
September 22, 2009 MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT! The Environmental Information Technology Leadership Council has released a list of top environmental information technology issues for YOU to vote on. Voting will determine the top five issues for them to address this year. Add your vote on the EITLC Wiki.

May 18, 2009 The EN contains an indefinite number of acronyms and terms, making the learning curve quite steep for new partners. Help build a common EN Glossary here on the wiki of all the terms and definitions that have become everyday in the EN community. YOU can help by suggesting additional terms by adding them to the Glossary discussion tab (note that you DO NOT HAVE TO KNOW THE DEFINITION in order to suggest that it be added to the Glossary) or by adding definitions to suggested glossary terms.

On Wednesday, March 11th from 1:00 – 2:30 PM Eastern Standard Time, the Exchange Network's Network Technology Group (NTG) and Network Partnership and Resources Group (NPRG) will host an open call for Exchange Network Partners. The call will include updated information on:
Node 2.0 flow migration progress; and
Node 2.0 Implementation Challenge Grant
It will also include:
A brief tutorial on the EN Wiki with a preview of the resources currently on the wiki site and a walk-through of how to access, contribute, and edit shared information; and
An opportunity to pose questions to the members of the NTG.
