Network Authorization and Authentication Services
Network Authorization and Authentication Services (NAAS) are a set of centralized information security services that Exchange Network partners can use to authenticate and authorize their users. NAAS provides an efficient way for Exchange Network participants to exchange data, without having to build and maintain their own security system. NAAS supports many levels of security, from PIN/passwords to public Key Infrastructure. Security tokens and assertions issued by NAAS are trusted and accepted by all Network Nodes. All operations defined in NAAS must be conducted over a secure SSL channel using 128 bit encryption.
