The Maine DEP GIS Unit is now offering selected data, geographically referenced, from a number of the department's databases to the public via Google Earth. You will need to have Google Earth installed to view this data. For help using Google Earth go to the Help Center.

Maine is also developing an web-based alternative to i-STEPS called MAIRIS (Maine Air Inventory Reporting System). Not only is the project charter available here as a PDF, but the product is available to be licensed to other states as well.  Contact the MAIRIS Project Manager Tammy Gould for more information.
