Data Standard

A Data Standard documents an agreement on representation, format and definition of common data exchanged. Exchange Network partners must use data standards that have been approved by the Exchange Network Leadership Council (ENLC). The ENLC has subsumed the activities of the Environmental Data Standards Council (EDSC). A list of ENLC/EDSC-approved data standards can be found at http://www.exchangenetwork.net/standards. Previously defined by the Environmental Data Standards Council as “documented agreements on formats and definitions of common data.”
