Data Management Tools Available

To exchange data with anyone else is a much more reasonable request of any of our Tribal programs if our data management system works for us to begin with.
Otherwise, exchanging data can become yet another burdensome task that takes away from the primary reason we collect data to begin with - to protect traditional tribal lifeways.
One of the patterns that has emerged from many discussions about exchanging data is that some of our programs are still working on making sure their data management systems meet their needs. We would prefer that our needs be met BEFORE we get pushed into having to put our data into a format that merely makes it easier to send it to EPA sooner.
So .... this page was created in hopes of providing a list of the data management tools already being used by other Tribes. The underlying philosophy is to SHARE as much as we can with others. Hopefully this will mean that fewer programs have to suffer through the same growing pains others have.
The tools are organized by type of software used and then by alphabetical order of the entity who created it - Tribal or otherwise.
