By putting only a standardized address in the location address field, it will help result in accurate queries, and allow geocoding of the address (finding a latitude/longitude).

Highways
- US HIGHWAY
- IA HIGHWAY
- INTERSTATE
- COUNTY ROAD
(Less preferred abbreviation: HWY)
For intersections
- Use both street names with the & sign. Example: MAIN ST & FIRST AVE
- (Ampersand is required for geocoding.)
- Do not use “corner” or “Intersection”
For “NEAR” or directions from/to
Put only the actual address part in the Address field, and other directions in the Supplemental Location field. Examples:

Other Address Standards
- No periods
- For prefix/suffix directions on streets, do not spell out. Examples:
- 67TH AVE W
- NW 86TH ST
- For an address range, use a hyphen. Example: 110-130 MAIN ST
